It seems like I spent my entire youth either with my nose in the books or busting my hump on the golf course with my Dad; sounds rough, right?…

I was determined to get to the ‘big city’…

Eventually, the thousands of hours studying & perfecting my golf swing finally paid off.

I earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Iowa and became a proud Iowa Hawkeye golfer and graduate…

Remind me to tell you about the time I had to fish my golf ball out of the water-hazard in FL…

With a degree in Finance and a side of Statistics, I blended my love for numbers with my passion for golf…

So, my life has been shaped by academia, travel, and the rolling greens…

I thank my father every day…

His ‘lead by example’ teachings instilled my core values of honesty, determination, perseverance & an (often annoying but ever-gratifying) attention-to-detail…

My love for golf helped me escape my small-town woes and live my dream lifestyle…

Traversing the landscapes of the United States and Europe while playing a game I love…

You’d think that I knew exactly what to do with myself at this point, yes?

Well I’m no different, and I managed not to go directly from college courses & golf courses to the job I love…

Life’s had its share of challenges, but those curveballs taught me determination and how to appreciate the little things…

I found myself at a desk job (hurts just saying it)…

Great news is, this gave me a ‘behind the scenes’ look into how things (eg. appraisals) “really get done”…

Fast forward to today in Cedar Rapids – I’m all about faith, family, community AND…

I’m grateful to say that I’m FINALLY doing what I love…

More than 19 years experience and 27,329 hours – not that I’m counting!

But you know what keeps me going?

It’s not just about appraisals & properties…

It’s about helping others, just like you, make rock-solid financial decisions today, that lead to a more secure future…

Don’t get me wrong!

I couldn’t change the oil in my car if my life depended on it…

But what I can do, is mastermind property appraisals through exhaustive research & analysis at a level of detail that would make Sherlock blush!

All while forming the best damn client – appraiser experience in the state…

To me that’s a major win-win!
